Slowly disappearing…from social media

I’ve been on social media for over a decade, between Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Instagram, Snapchat, Google+, etc… it really is a full time job to keep up with all of it. So I decided to slowly walk away from it… The biggest step was Facebook. It was crazy on how much I lost contact with what I called life. I lost friends, news, and so much marketing that I didn’t need. I have since worked on magic tricks, written more, and been able to spend so much time doing things I WANT to do not things I felt compelled to do.

I am still on LinkedIn and Github since I am still in the work force. And obviously, I’m still on Medium, as you read this article. I had my own blog for a while and was writing there and then cross-posting on twitter, medium, facebook, etc… and then I simplified everything and let this be where I post.

I don’t need an audience, I don’t need to be famous, but I write because I love to write. I am so excited to be doing this on my new Surface Go. Thanks Microsoft for getting me back to Windows. I love windows and I have been on Mac for the past 3 years and yes, it is great for Python development and it definitely has a great ecosystem. However, I love my android and my windows machine (running a Linux terminal).

Feel free to ask me anything about how to delete everything. I was so excited when I googled myself and couldn’t find anything for several pages. Let’s get back to talking to each other not at each other, learn to listen again and not simply plan your response. Be accountable, be responsible, and work hard to accomplish things and not feel someone owes you anything.

A fun loving developer who likes to write about, talk about, and teach tech solutions, and help others succeed!
